So I'm pretty sure we've had gaming benchmark threads in here before, but I don't recall seeing anything for general-purpose benchmarks. So, go download Geekbench (http://www.primatelabs.com/geekbench/) and run it in 32-bit mode (you need the paid version for 64-bit mode) and post your scores and specs below! I'll start with my best shot, my development workstation: Specs: Dual Intel Xeon E5-2690 64GB DDR3 1TB SSD RAID 0 array (I don't care if the disks die, all my work is on Git, at most I'd lose a day or so)

When SSD-s die, don't they only lose the write capability? So you can keep reading the stuff?

Damn Hexxeh, what are you developing over there?

[t]http://s.duck.me.uk/2012-10-27_22-36-15.png[/t] [del]Score seems a touch low for a 3770k, but I have got a lot of shit running.[/del] That's more like it.
I should mention, I didn't even realise you could buy a CPU with 8 physical cores when I got this...
Damn Hexxeh, what are you developing over there?
Probably some Google stuff. You need a military supercomputer just to compile Chrome.
You need a troop of CS graduates to compile any open-source Google project. Seriously, the amount of preparation required is ridiculous.
i only use this for web browsing :downs:
Pretty average score. [sp]This is my laptop[/sp]:v:
Edit: Small OC.
.....wow.
Oh how times have changed. Also you didn't make this thread to show off your twin Xeon's, did you Hexxeh?
yay for throttling
1803 :( Shitty laptop.
So, is my computer really THAT bad?!
No. http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1224400
Oh, so my i3 is technically better than my i7.
Meh.. :c
All my devices are on here. (except mobile, why make the iOS version paid? Pretty much all the iPhone 5's etc will have near identical scores) http://browser.primatelabs.com/user/30997
I really get the feeling this is higher than it should be...
Umm how do I see my results... are they supposed to launch in a browser?
Heh, got a higher score than someone else with the same CPU. Hoorah.
I found mine. 3351 :( http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1233683
[editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] My i5 is 3.8GHZ... It didn't read the clocks. How the fuck can an i5 Sandy Bridge get 12,000 in score?
I was wondering that too!
