A few of the effects were rather shoddy, but for the most part it was pretty dang cool. The bit where the jeep got flipped was especially well done, I'd like to know how they did it because it looks almost real compared to the rest of the effects.
The acting is always so awkward to watch. Cool effects tho.
Why couldn't they make a live-action 'Tetris' movie? Just once?
If they were trying to blow the thing up why did the hunter chopper shoot a missile at them to stop them
Wasn't much of a story and the effects were generally bad but it was entertaining to watch and they stayed true to Half-Life unlike that last one with holograms and ninja combine and shit
The Combine soldier uniforms in the scene with the two rebels looking at him looked pretty boss.
The rebel acting seemed a bit weird and some of the effects seemed to be done not really good (the ruins near the end when driving the jeep or the explosion) and Freeman looked really awkward. Just standing there with the crowbar raised. Otherwise it was pretty good, like Joazzz said the uniforms from that scene were badass.
The two last minutes were really badass.
I just realize how many story ideas you got to make a Half Life movie... Gaben is still looking for a good script to make a real full length Half life movie :v:
I'd love to see how they shot the buggy scene.
"Good my hands are still there." I liked most of it, but Freeman at the end was just awful.
As a filmmaker myself I would have changed a few things. Their weapon props could have been different such as the SCAR assault rifle the Rebel was holding. Could have been an AK-47 as they might have been more common? Their costumes are quite new as well, would not have hurt to grease em up a bit. Perhaps the director could have thought of a better way to film? Most shots were covered by editing and there were not a lot of live action shots seeing it is a film of such; most scenes were blurry. IMO<- However it is still an amazing short film. The buggy scene amazed me especially the part where it gets shot by a rocket and flips through the air.

It is flat.

Half-Life movie could work very well, as long as it is not about Gordon Freeman. Really liked the GMan bit in this one.
-Guns-
I'm pretty sure he was talking about the one with the long hair. He was holding a SCAR.
looks pretty damn good though
can't be unseen
