We'll be updating the banner every little while. If you want something added to it, send it to me in a PM. If we get a heap of people sending images through we may not be able to include them all. We'll try to let everybody have a turn in the spotlight though.

Same as above, but currently no upper limit. One image per person. Please send them through at 300px wide, with a link to a higher res image. This high res image can be the DA page for the image if you want.
[B]Other Artist's Work[/B]
If you find something that you think would help others, whether a tutorial or another artist's stuff, don't clog the thread with a huge post about it and big images. A little link/thumbnail and a brief description is enough.

The knight's swinging animation is definitely weird. It looks like he's hitting the ground with it and the motion blur doesn't look like it matches the arc of the swing. Overall I'm digging your aesthetic though

I feel like the shape of the big square monster doesn't suit the leg animation. I'd have expected the legs to operate as though the hip joint was up inside the square body, so the legs don't bend but simply lift, slide along the underside of the body, then lower to touch the ground again with each stride.
So.. I am trying to learn to draw people. Specifically the body right now, so not the head, hands, or feet. What resources have any of y'all used? I've been trying to watch Learn2Draw on youtube, but he has so many different videos on the same subject (learning proportions) I am not sure which one to watch. I want a good base to work from.
I've seen a few different methods for learning proportions and I am wondering what people find the most useful. Also it kind of suck that the creative work section is gone..
Try doing some figure drawing. You can find models on the internet or if you want to get a little better understanding of where muscles are on the body try drawing some [url=http://www.posemaniacs.com/]Posemaniacs[/url]. It's still better to draw from photos of real people, keep in mind.

I've joined the fb group, don't use fb all that much though. Maybe a steam group would have made more sense mal? idc but some people might be reluctant to have their fb accessible to fp. too late now I guess

I mean we could try a Steam group, but I don't know if many people use Steam Communities at all for sociable stuff. I always found it way too slow and not at all designed well for anything other than checking out folks profiles. I may be wrong though!

Done using a youtube tutorial thing. I think I fucked up the body cuz was a lot wider and taller, I just cheated after I drew it and scaled it down. I didn't really measure anything, I suppose I should probably do that if I am going to do this right. I just wanted to do something before going to bed.
Also i'm a noob to using a tablet, I have a super fucking old one that I got a long time ago but never got around to trying to get used to it.

idk if there's any point now unless others agree. Really? I've always found the opposite, I don't like fb's interface at all and I think steam is a good platform to chat on.

Okay everybody, this is going to clog the first couple of pages with old content, but what I want is for everybody who wants to be involved to post one picture that they consider to be their best work. This is for a 'best of' post that will make up the OP, as well as a tasteful collage banner for our FB page.
I want a thumbnail (no more than 400px on its widest axis) and a high res image if you have it. They will be hotlinked so don't dick around with flaky image hosts - upload to Deviantart or Dropbox if you have to. Please make sure it's clear that the image your posting is for the OP.
The deadline will be 10pm Friday night New Zealand time - that's 9am Friday in England, and 8am Friday in New York. Anything submitted after that will have to be PMed to me, and will not make it into the banner - only the OP. If you are chopping and changing and want to update your image in the OP every few days, this may not be able to happen - time is precious. Depending on how many responses this gets, the OP may have to be a curated list of work. We'll deal with that if it comes to it.
We'll definitely refresh everything in a couple of months, so if you miss out on the Facebook banner you can always try again at that time.

Oh the old CWTTDAT thread didn't get deleted - it got locked. Detlef's thread will still be floating around, but she might have to make a new one. Ours got locked after I posted in it, so I imagine you get a grace post to say your goodbyes
