Trying to remember an old comic from when I was a kid

I had this series of comics when I was younger (1980's) where this kid with blond hair had a pet owl and they went on educational adventures. It also came with a small red record that you could put on an LP player and it would vocalise the words for you, so you could just look at the pictures.

The ones I remember from the books that I had were learning about the following topics

The Olympics
Lightning and Thunder and Weather (they visited Zeus I think)
Submarines
Flight (and the Wright Brothers)
Parachutes

There were probably others. I remember the cover was a bright yellow. It may have been made in the 70's or early 80's. I'm thinking 70's because stuff in the 80's would have been on tape cassette. Could have even been 60's.

Anyone have any idea what I am talking about?
