• Computer being VERY slow after TF2 crashed.

I don't even know what happened with TF2. But, I was changing my video settings to the all high (recommended), because someone set them to ALL lowest. And I hit apply, and the game crashed. So I force-shutdown my computer (pressed and held the power) and I booted it back up , and now I usually have to wait a few minutes as explorer doesn't respond. I ran a system restore from yesterday but it didn't work. It didn't usually do that.
I strongly doubt any correlation between the crash and your computer being slow. How full is your hard drive? Also, try opening your task manager and checking the processes tab. If there's too many processes running that use a large amount of memory then you will need to uninstall some of your junk programs. This is all basic stuff that you should do regularly anyway, but if none of it helps then you'll have to provide more information.
Well, I've got a 900GB HDD, with only 571GB Free. I'm starting to remove the steam games I have installed that I don't play. (My steamapps folder is 110GB LOL) Note: After I deleted a bunch of games, it's 57GB. Edit: I have 9GB of RAM.
Could be some kind of virus then. I don't know much about viruses since i never get them. :/
Well, I have CA antivirus, and it only picked up cookies and P2P stuff. Edit: CA Internet Security* Running my usual stuff: Anything unusual?
Check your TF2 folder for any random programs (files ending with .dll) that you find. Those are server-uploaded viruses that can slow down your computer completely. If you're server browsing a lot then it becomes more frequent, so check it every once in a while.
