A fantastic friend of mine is going to send seeds my way tomorrow and I want people here that have grown it to help me, I am just going to grow in it my yard where my dad never cuts the grass so that no one can see it yet I can easily work with it, so I need info on what supplies I need and what to do in the time frame of growing it.
Also some info on drying it would be nice as I am going to make opium tea when it's all nice and good.

I've only got permad once on this account, and I was rebanned for a week so that if I break one more rule I would be permad. But I was banned for racism not a gimmick.
You don't need to grow poppies for opium tea. That's the beauty of it. You can just use poppy seeds. Growing poppies is not too difficult from what I understand but you do need a high amount for any significant yield. Apparently each plant will yield 1/4 gram of Opium.
Somebody posted a great guide on growing them a few weeks ago.

Yeah but there are other uses for the poppies besides tea :smug:
I would rather use the seeds to plant them though.

Nevermind, when I dry it I can just cut it open take out then seeds then make the tea and save the seeds.
