• Weird display issue on ancient PC

I recently dug up an old laptop and installed Windows 10 on it along with all of the drivers for the hardware. One issue that's been prominent is an issue relating to the display. I can't really describe it, so I've taken as good a picture as I can and linked it below. Things to note is that it only appears over certain colours and is always in the same position. The drivers are mostly up to date so I have no idea what could be causing the issue. I'm very grateful for all help, and thank you in advance :)
So a strip of pixels down your monitor has malfunctioning LEDs, and do not show blue properly anymore. It's fucked.

how old is the laptop ? maybe its worth sourcing a replacement screen for it " it can't be that bad if it's running windows 10"
I would boot off a live linux usb and try to replicate the issue, could also be a driver issue on Windows 10.
