Actually, this doesn't look as similar to BF3 as I thought it was going to look.
Granted it's still damn similar, but there are enough changes to at least make it look like more than a map pack.
Facepunch is gonna kill you for saying something positive about BF4, I shall see you in Valhalla my friend.
Because Facepunch is a single entity.
I have high hopes, but recently EA has been crushing those.
Not a fan of the trailer music
hope it'll conclude this story arc thing with ww3
also looking forward to some city battles, with skyscrapers and all
Damn it's gone.
I saw a VDV Buggy from BF3.
Here's to hoping that the singleplayer campaign has less hand holding, is less to do about nukes, and more to do about conflicts that are in no way related to Russians. Getting really tired of this "future cold war" shtick.
I wonder how many times people have to be disappointed by the dumps EA takes on its games before they realize that it is entirely their fault for buying that shit.
You know I REALLY REALLY want to like it, but it's hard.

Also you gotta hand it to guys at DICE who make the trailers for their games, because as generic as they are (and that was generic as FUCK), they really do know how to make good trailers.

don't forget incredibly obvious plot holes and dropped plot elements that serve no purpose other than being brought up for no reason
This looks like it has less blue than BF3...
I actually am VERY surprised. Hopefully they keep in destruction like it was in the BF3 Alpha.

While the actual effect was not that great, I thought Infinity Ward did a good job with actual nuke aftermath (also, wasnt there a nuke going off afar in bf3s SP?)

Also yea there was a nuke in 3 but you couldn't really see it and it was only for a brief couple seconds.
Was that Rihanna

A nuke went off in Paris which started the war in Multiplayer or some shit

The nuke was okay, but what I meant was that I don't want to see another plot revolving around nukes. There are many more plot devices out there that can be used that are much more original and creative than "Where's the nuke, protagonist?!"
Looked better than I thought it would. Also, reusing assets makes sense. Why remodel something if it wouldn't change how it looks in the first place? It's sort of like sounds. If they sound good, why redo them for the same weapon every time?

oh stop it, that song's awesome

While I want to give DICE great kudos for making a great single player campaign.... (those graphics and animations are simply second to none)...
The whole thing screams COD, cliche scenes with cliche choices and things we've seen before again and again.
There are lots of re-used art and sound assets. The AI looks pathetic.
And don't get me started over that woeful fart into the microphone at the end, what the hell has happened to the wonderful scores of music that accompanied the BF logo.
Very mixed feelings on this one.
Rhianna, brown n bloom, driving sequences, Frostbtie 3(which is pretty much Frostbite 2.5).
This game will not end well.
