It was over a year ago that we heard rumors that Fallout 4 would be set in Boston. Of course, at that time, even the very existence of Fallout 4 wasn’t confirmed, nonetheless where it would be located. But wonder no more, because not only is Fallout 4 real, but it is, indeed, set in Massachusetts. Word comes by way of Kotaku, which acquired leaked documents associated with the game’s voice acting casting call. Interestingly, the documents reference a project code-named Institute; the word “Fallout” never actually makes an appearance anywhere. But the contents of the documents make it quite clear what game is being referenced.
http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/12/11/fallout-4-exists-and-its-set-in-massachusetts?+main+twitter Hooray! It really is a thing!!
Just look at all the neato things to do.
Hooray! Next can be Kentucky, right?
Kotaku with "leaked documents" makes me skeptical till I hear more.
Hooray! Next can be Kentucky, right?
I honestly wonder what a Fallout game set in the Seattle area would be like.
I won't believe anything after Survivor2299 unless I hear it from beth
My state woo, now we can play as Masshole wastelanders and get drunk in Irish pubs and get lost because of bad signage.
Hmm the after affects of the boston bombing. I like it.
I'm fine with this. I'd rather them do the east coast again then butcher the south like they did in that FO3 DLC.
I honestly wonder what a Fallout game set in the Seattle area would be like.
It'd be the worst. Kentucky would have mutated horses and coal power plants to explore.
rev up those cultists and fish people
Hooray! Next can be Kentucky, right?
KFM? Kentucky Fried Mutant?
Talking protagonist. NO
I better see some Lovecraftian shit
Just look at all the neato things to do.
Fuck that.
They better have Malden, it would be nice killing raiders in my hometown.
Fuck yes, home sweet home
I honestly wonder what a Fallout game set in the Seattle area would be like.
I think the Space Needle would be an Enclave HQ, with some dystopian modifications, ofc
I'm gonna go apeshit if they don't release a DLC that includes traveling abroad. Or back in time.
Just image Cape Cod covered in radiation.
Hopefully they go into Southern New Hampshire I have some people to deal with.
KFM? Kentucky Fried Mutant?
Yup. In all honesty I vouch for my home state not out love for it but due to the thought that we should have a more wilderness based Fallout game. I'm not sure how hard Kentucky was hit but I do think that we could have an awesome environment, with more open world scariness instead of inside buildings as in Fallout 3. [img_thumb]http://www2.ca.uky.edu/forestry/maehrelk/Interior%20Forest%20Conditions.jpg[/img_thumb] This is pretty much the back yard of our country property. I've explored through it and it would have some very neat additions. Forget geckos, try a mutated wolf or bear. Also, I believe our coal plants would be very neat contrast along side with what cities we have. I live in a city of around 50-60k, so not that big. But wouldn't you guys like to explore something like this?
I'm going to max out my Intelligence so I can be wicked smaht.
it'll never be in kentucky
it'll never be in kentucky
That's not a good attitude for Kentucky Fried Mutant.
I really hope Logan Airport gets put in this game, it would make for a neat stronghold.
-big long kentucky post-
I'll admit that would be interesting to explore in a post-apocalyptic game, but what is there that is of interest in kentucky other than those 2 things??? If anything, this would be large mod territory if anyone was willing to pick it up and find a way to do it.
