A burglar alarm brought a trooper to the school, at 314 E. Basin Road, at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The trooper spotted two males inside the building, and they both ran outside, Cpl. John Day said.
Both were apprehended after a short chase, Day said.

"One, Manuel Marshall, 21, of New Castle, was found to be in possession of a small bag of marijuana. The other male, a 17-year-old from Wilmington, was found to be in possession of four headphones belonging to the school. He was also found to have consumed alcohol," Day said in a news release.

Marshall was released after posting $6,000 secured bail.
The 17-year-old was released on $8,750 unsecured bail
$8,750 for four (probably crappy) headphones :v:
That's alright, one time at my school we went on spring break and when we came back there literally was not a single computer left in the building.
I will never understand why people break into schools. There's much better places to steal from. I mean even from a criminals point of view, ignoring that you are stealing from kids' education, there are many more places that would have more money/valuables than a school. Plus you can bet your ass that a judge is going to be harder on a school burglar, it doesn't make any sense no matter how you look at it.
