This isn't just a thing with dictators, it's a thing with pretty much every leader on the planet...
Getting compared to Hitler in regards to public speaking is a compliment, as far as I am concerned.
One of the few things Hitler was truly good at was public speaking. The man could command a cult of personality pretty much anywhere at any time.
Getting compared to Hitler in regards to public speaking is a compliment, as far as I am concerned.
I remember in Secondary School I gave a speech once and afterwards a bunch of people compared me speechin' skills to Hitler.
Holy shit, I read title as "Obama's recent 40 minute Hitler-like speech."
Holy shit, I read title as "Obama's recent 40 minute Hitler-like speech."
that's what Hitler would say
Russia - *business as usual*
Getting compared to Hitler in regards to public speaking is a compliment, as far as I am concerned.
Yeah seriously, Hitler knew how to give a damn good speech. He put a lot of passion and energy into them.
Hitler's speeches were bullshit and are hard for me to ever listen to because their content is so baffling and incoherent. Anyone with a brain should laugh at what he says in any of his speeches. Content it always more important than presentation.

Mob mentality has always been the exact opposite. "None of us are as dumb as all of us" isn't a phrase that's intended to be ironic.
Holy shit, I read title as "Obama's recent 40 minute Hitler-like speech."
How the fuck could you even do that, I mean. Putin's Obama's literally the only letters they share are the 's at the end.

You can't just go off comparing him to Hitler, don't you know he has cancer!? You're gonna hurt his feelings!
You can't just go off comparing him to Hitler, don't you know he has cancer!? You're gonna hurt his feelings!
Which one?
Which one?
Which one who? Which one has cancer or which one has hurt feelings?
I fail to see what exactly was "Hitler-like" about this speech. The fact that it was long?

[editline]27th October 2014[/editline]
I fail to see what exactly was "Hitler-like" about this speech. The fact that it was long?
Putin always sounds like he's bored as hell which makes him about the total opposite of Hitler in terms of public speaking.
I fail to see what exactly was "Hitler-like" about this speech. The fact that it was long?
Well I mean he was standing really awkwardly and sticking his arm out while speaking with a German accent, I mean who did you think it was, Lincoln?
The only thing that is similar to Hitler is the length of speech. I guess I was Hitler all the time in University (Yes, I love to give long speeches)
Misleading title anyone? Fuck you OP.
Have any of you actually listened to the speech? No? Can't have that, you might realize he was right about everything.

Post cold war the US have been unopposed. They have used this lack of opposition for illegal wars, exploiting other countries, spying on their allies, funding terrorists, destabilising regimes, war crimes. Its slightl hypocritical, specifically the part where he mentions "violating states sovereignty by funding terrorists" but being a hypocrite doesn't mean he is wrong. I would rather have 2 evils keeping each other in check than 1 evil unopposed.

Unless you do know german

There we had two nations competing for world domination, and that is largely why we're in the situation we have now. The Cold War wasn't as cold as the title would suggest. The past 25 years we've lived in a period of relative peace, despite having basically only a single superpower.

But when the second one joins - soon they are going to beat each other, while everyone else can relax.
What the hell does this have to do with Hitler?
What the hell does this have to do with Hitler?
He gave a speech. Just like Hitler did.
