Police are investigating the rape of an 18-year-old student at a south Wales university hall of residence.
It happened in a student room at the Glamorgan Court Halls at the University of Glamorgan in Treforest, Pontypridd in the early hours of Saturday.
Police, who now have a 24-hour presence on campus, said the 6ft tall suspect wore a hooded top and gloves.
The university said it was supporting the victim and told students to lock windows and doors at night.
It has also set up a dedicated helpline on 01443 482896 for parents and students.
Officers were called to Glamorgan Court at about 0450 BST on Saturday after receiving a report that a non-residential student at the university had been sexually assaulted.

The woman was attacked sometime after 0230 BST in a friend's room at the halls.
The suspect is described as about 6ft tall and of "solid" appearance. He was wearing gloves and a dark hooded top.
Supt Tony Smith, from South Wales Police, reassured students at the university, parents and the wider community that a full investigation involving a team of detectives has started.
He said:"The victim is at home with her family, she has been appointed a specially-trained South Wales Police liaison officer and we are keeping them updated on the inquiry as it progresses.
"I am sure it will be of concern to new students who are arriving to start their university career, and their parents, but this is an extremely rare incident for not only the university but the Pontypridd area.

"Since this incident was reported to us there has been a 24-hour police presence at the university's campus, which will continue, as well as the campus' own security staff."
Scenes of crime officers are carrying out forensic examinations of a number of rooms in the halls, specialist police teams are searching the surrounding area, and enquiries are being made with the students living there.
Prof David Halton, university vice chancellor, said they were "offering full support" to the victim.
In the light of the incident they were reminding all students to follow basic safety advice, he said.
This includes keeping all windows and doors locked at night, staying in groups when walking around the campus late at night, and reporting any suspicious activity to security staff or the police.
