My iPod all of a sudden, dies fast as fuck. But the problem is is that it's never done this before yesterday. It all of a sudden barely holds a charge, I just fully charged it 3 hours ago and now it's at 25 percent. It's never done this before and I'm sure to never over charge it. It's an iPod touch.
iPod batteries become shit after a while, and eventually stop working, your battery may be leaking. Look for holes, if it is unrepairable, invest in a zune or some other Media Device.
I have the same issue. Overcharge it once or twice and you're screwed out of an ipod.
I assumed it was the battery but I've had iPods before last way longer.

Wow guys you can't overcharge an iPod they don't have memory either you don't have to let them die. They have charge cycles you can only charge them so may times before they fail. Although if you do let them die before a charging you can maximize your cycles I suppose.
Read OP. I said I don't overcharge.
Uncharge it 100% --> put a plastic bag around it --> put it in the freezer for a few hours. I only do this with laptop and car phone batterys so i dont know if a whole ipod can handle it.
I'll try it!
I'll try it!
I hope it works. Dunno how lcd screens react to freezing.
I hope it works. Dunno how lcd screens react to freezing.
Uh, not very well. Also OP, make sure you got that thing vacuum tight, otherwise condensation can form on it and cause the thing to fry out. Doesn't it suck not being able to replace your batteries? Closed off electronics, for the win!
Nevermind guys, I've still got warranty for my iPod so apples giving me a new iPod. Thanks though :buddy:
