So recently I've been having this weird problem with my headphones, the right one sometimes just randomly goes off, so there's only sound coming from the left one. Sometimes it's working just fine and even when it's off, sometimes moving my head around makes it go back on but it goes off again after a while. Could this be a software issue or am I gonna have to get new headphones? It's a Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset (yeah, the name is stupid), like this:

Get a new one. But first, salvage that shit. :black101:
I had this issue too, my pair of headphones only has sound coming out the left side. But sometimes it totally stopped and I have to monkey with the cord and wrap it around the headphone sometimes. :v:
I believe it is an issue with the cord. When my headphones die, it is due to the cord being old and not connecting right. The solution is either taking out the bad piece and slicing the bits together, or use duct tape/glue to force it to the part that it is not connecting to.
Solder guns also help.
The connection at the headphones is probably fucked up from use. You could try resoldering them if you have that kind of equipment/knowledge/a willingness to cut the cord.

I have that exact headset and (almost exactly) that problem. It's the left side that's screwing with me, though.

Actually, come to think of it. My brother has those headphones too and a problem with the cable breaking.
Yeah. Not buying another pair of these, I don't think.
It's not the headphones,
It's bad taking care of. If you rough up the cable, ofcourse it'll break. Anything'll break if you rough it up.
Plurbus is stupid. it's not from roughing up.
Yeah my headphones have the same error ATM. My advice is just to buy another pair(Obviously doesn't have to be that brand.)
Just find where the cable is broken and resolder the connection.
I have been fixing my Senhheiser px100 for 5 years with that now.
Its most probably the cord, but try it with a MP3 player, if it is same shit there you'll need a new, do you have any warranty on it?

No, the cable feels really cheap on these, anyway.
