I was playing some 360 this morning when the colors inverted mid game to a grayscale that included a lot of green and distortion. Now the 360 will turn on but it wont show any image on the TV.
Sounds like your Xbox overheated, you may be screwed. When it comes to overheating, believe it or not, but sometimes, if your skilled enough, you can remove the components from the case and heat them in an oven, which will induce what is called "Solder Reflow".
It could also just be a bad video cable, or your tv.
Send to Microsoft it's busted. Why wouldn't you just do this instead of post? Everyone will say send to Microsoft, or what GetOutOfBox said.
Yeah, if you still got warranty, send it in. It'll take a while, but its the easiest and safest way.
And as a continuation of my first post, instead of heating in the oven, some peopl will wrap a towl around it and leave it on for a while, this will induce the same effect, and even if it damages it, it won't be as obvious to microsoft if you do decide to send it in, as it would appear like it just overheated.
This happened to me, except the blue and green sort of went from the output so the dashboard was this shade of sickly pink.
A few hours later the whole thing stopped outputting so I sent it away for repair.
Mind you it was a launch console and worked a hell of a lot till that point.
