Ok so i was watching a 720p MKV fullscreen on my PC, i heard the audio crackling a little (although i think it was a sound effect from the show i was watching). But then my PC decided to have a BSoD (first time in over a year on this build).
Now when i try to turn my PC on, everything starts: fans, hdd's, cpu fan, GPU fans, drives etc. But i get no BIOS beep and no output on my monitor, i have stripped everything down and have tried reseating my gfx card.
Can anyone solve whats wrong with my PC?
Specs:
AMD 9850 BE @ Stock speeds
6gb DDR2 Ram (2x 2gb dual channel + 2x 1gb Dual Channel)
nVidia 9800GT 1gb
Can you remember what the BSOD said?
Have you tried resetting the CMOS? That sounds alot like what happens when I first OC'ed my RAM and had some really messed up timings.
Reset CMOS and reboot with only 1 ram stick. (and maybe use your onboard gpu if you have one)
it's not the memory, PSU or GPU as i have tested all of them, im looking more towards it being a CPU fault now.

Well it would help if you actually told us what the BSOD said.
how was i supposed to see what it said, it was up for less than a second, and seeing as i can't even get to the bios screen now i have no chance of seeing it again
