That's about it.
Think of it like the GPS frequency spectrum is a blue sharpie line drawn in a straight line and LightSquared's registered frequency spectrum (which I'll say is a yellow sharpie) is right next to the GPS spectrum. Because LightSquare are fags and don't know how to filter out rogue transmission frequencies (or their transmeission methoids are excessively noisy) you'll get part of their spectrum overlapping into GPS (the excess ink from the blue and green sharpies mix to create green) and it creates a slice of both spectrums which can't be used.
