Speakers: http://www.thomann.de/gb/maudio_av40_studiophile.htm Subwoofer: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-visual/speaker-systems/subwoofers/yst-sw216_black__u/?mode=model [img_thumb]http://data.yamaha.jp/sdb/local/products/images/12625/12075/12625_12075_1.jpg[/img_thumb] So I guess you just need an analog signal from my laptop/ipod that get's split into to 2 TRS mono jacks (left and right channels), I plug this into my woofer (input box on the picture). The woofer decides which frequency range it handles itself (this one does not have a variable frequency splitter) and sends the rest to the speakers (top four black & red output thingies). Here's a tricky thing: I need a connector that goes from 4 bare copper cables to 2 TRS mono wires, or 1 TRS stereo and then a TRS stereo female to 2x TRS mono male plugs (look at the top left input for the left speaker). The woofer does NOT amplify this signal, right? (don't want to break em)
