Steam New Feature - Adding your Phone Number is a joke for recovering your steam account.

This new steam update feature that allows you to use your phone number to recover your account is a huge joke because what is the point of using phone number for more security when you have unhackable email attached on your profile since your first time joining steam at level 0. I recommend using gmail and outlook beacuse it is the best email providers with highest security to become unhackable.
Oh and did i forgot to mention about phising and malware links?, Avoid them.
I am not trying to be rude or anything but i dont like the new steam feature that you add your phone number.

If it's new steam verification feature, i will kill myself.
Not like someone can't use your password you have for your gmail account
Are you mad because you don't have a phone or something? What is wrong with having an extra non-intrusive layer of security?

You don't have to worry i will be fine.
With how many users of steam have accounts that are 10+ years old and having accounts with lots of valuable steam dosh - this was inevitable, that they would have to find more ways to secure the account to yourself.
Not like someone can't use your password you have for your gmail account
Two factor authentication. So unless you get my password somehow and steal my phone, you are shit out of luck.
I was ready to contact steam support because my phone would not receive the confirmation SMS, then I noticed that I remember my phone number wrong
Kill me...
If you have a phone, then why not use Two Step?
Especially if your account is about €4000,- worth (me lol)
