You probably know the song Day N Nite that's been overplayed a bit. Same dude, released a new album called Man on the moon: End of Day . I like it a whole lot. its kinda a slow chill album. heres a few songs from it Soundtrack 2 my life Heart of a lion Pursuit of Happiness Cudi Zone
I really really like this album, Pursuit of Happiness being my favorite off it.
I like Alive a lot. Ratatat really completes that song.
i hear other rappers hate kid cudi
Why's that? [editline]08:40PM[/editline] And who?
idk, too mainstream probably
I hadn't even heard about him until recently.
Day 'n' Night was a good song before it went main stream. Then it just became overplayed :crying:
This is a damn good album. My favourite song on it is My World
Day 'n' Night was a good song before it went main stream. Then it just became overplayed :crying:
I have heard it on the radio quite a few times, but I do think it's a decent song.
Good shit indeed
Why's that? [editline]08:40PM[/editline] And who?
Andre 3000 was the one I heard It's basically because Kid Cudi can't rap at all
Andre 3000 was the one I heard It's basically because Kid Cudi can't rap at all
O i c. Eh, well, honestly the only ones I really liked were Day n Night and Alive. Day n Night just because it was a chill song and Alive because the instrumentals were performed by Ratatat. And Ratatat kicks ass. But actually yeah, I noticed he didn't actually really rap on this album at all. It was all singing pretty much.
His stuff can't really be called rap.. it's just different, which is what makes it good. Obviously not for everyone though.
No, I don't mean he makes unorthodox music. Andre 3000 does that too. I mean when Kid Cudi tries to rap, he is bad at it. [editline]07:53PM[/editline] It's frustrating because he's being put forward as the artistic progression of hip-hop, when in reality he's just a largely talentless figurehead for someone else's art-hop album project. It's a good album, but not BECAUSE of Kid Cudi. It's a good album in SPITE of Kid Cudi.

sorry I was looking at the tits above your post
I like the album, but I like it more for the chill sound. I think ratatat and mgmt did good work.
I don't think crookers got enough credit for that remix.

The tracks I enjoy I probably only enjoy because of the instrumentations for it built by people other than Kid Cudi.
<3 Ratatat
Ratatat is brilliant. I really wanna see them live sometime. I always wonder how they get such lush sounds. In guitar, synth, and otherwise.
I think they use your mom as a tube amp.
o ya my mom I should run some synthesizers through her.
I really like soundtrack 2 my life (and obviously the day n night remix), slowly listening to it through spotify
