Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman was reunited with his rescuer, Carlos Arredondo, at Fenway Park on Tuesday night. Inextricably linked by an iconic photo of Arredondo aiding Bauman in the aftermath of the explosions, they were honored by the Red Sox prior to a game against the Philadelphia Phillies and each threw out a ceremonial first pitch.
I'm glad to see he survived and seems to be happy. After seeing those pictures I wasn't sure if he was going to make it.

good to see he's happy!
Is that the guy that had the flesh/bones hanging out and someone grasping his artery?
Amazing that he survived that, he looked like he lost a massive amount of blood.
Kid threw a good strike.
And Papi showed why he's a DH, bobbling that catch :V
he lost both his legs?
:(

He did lose a shitload of blood, the image of him in a wheel chair being rushed to the hospital shows him white as a ghost and a face of pure shock, i'm glad he survived, also he has a reason to get bionic legs now.

Glad he survived. He must have lost a tonne of blood.

I don't know if you saw the pictures of him, but it looked really really bad.
that fucking avatar
Well, some men have to compensate

If we'd ever develop tech like in Deus Ex:Human Revolution and if there would be anyone deserving such a thing, it would be him.
Yeah...

Fuck.
Imagine being conscious through that.

Wasn't he almost next to one of the bombs that went off?
Come on Ortiz, get it together!

That someone who was grasping his artery is the same guy with the cowboy hat who wheeled him out to on the baseball field.
Those fucking Youtube comments..
I love how they are best buds now
This is another horrendous pic of Bauman before he was in the wheelchair. Him laying on the ground in a shitload of his own blood.

Glad to see he's okay now.
Glad to see him happy, I remember the first picture I saw of him besides the actual bombing photos was this one.

It was awesome to see him smiling.

Oh wow. That's Bradley Cooper.
Hate shit like this. All it is is just the MLB getting good press. It's like Disney sending Princesses to hospitals conveniently by the stadiums they're doing Disney on Ice at and taking pictures of kids in front of huge banners advertising Disney on Ice. They don't give a shit about his legs.

Indeed it is, he visited some of the victims after the bombing.

They may not give a shit, but that guy sure does. So what if it's a gitchy little trick they are using for marketing? They are giving a guy who lost both of his legs a memory that isn't complete shit. You can take that little moment of happiness away from him if you want, but in doing so, you just prove that you are an asshole who can't stand to see others happy.

That's not what this video is about. It is about Jeff Bauman having a good time and the public being able to see a smile on his face.

definitely dude, fuck this guy for enjoying moments in his life. he should defs go suck on a big dick. If I hated his happiness I would have said so. Fuck the MLB, but good on the dude for living his (likely) dream.
Those fucking Youtube comments..
jesus fuck how do these people exist
definitely dude, fuck this guy for enjoying moments in his life. he should defs go suck on a big dick. If I hated his happiness I would have said so. Fuck the MBA, but good on the dude for living his (likely) dream.
So fuck the MBA for fulfilling this guy's dream, but good on the guy for having his dream realized. I don't really get where you are coming from.
You're an idiot if you think the MLB really did this for him.
You're an idiot if you think the MBA really did this for him.
I think the question to ask here is: does it matter if the MLB did it for him or for themselves?
Sure, it'd be nice if the MLB did it out of the goodness of their hearts, but regardless of their intentions it clearly made the guy's day.
Matters just about as much as that guy's day. Not much.
