A study has found that nearly all homemade pornography ends up on the open Internet within hours of being uploaded after being harvested by so-called parasite websites or by some other means.
The Internet Watch Foundation found 88 percent of homemade pornography ends up on public websites. The online advocacy group tracked more than 10,000 of the 12,000 images from private sites that found its way to public websites within 48 hours of being uploaded.
The images were sometimes harvested from so-called parasite websites. Parasite websites crawl the internet in search of sexual content, and the group found in some cases these sites hacked accounts to gain access to images.
The IWF found 68 parasite websites in their study.
"This research gives an unsettling indication of the number of images and videos on the Internet featuring young people performing sexually explicit acts or posing," said Susie Hargreaves, the CEO of IWF. "It also highlights the problem of control of these images - once an image has been copied onto a parasite website, it will no longer suffice to simply remove the image from the online account."
well no shit.
Motherless anyone?

Absolutely inaccurate and misleading. They even say themseves only 88% of homemade pornography that has been uploaded to private sites makes it onto the web. Not 88% of all homemade pornography existing.
If I'm reading that right it's out of all the homemade porn that is uploaded to either websites with shitty security (presumably to store it or share it to others) or to paid homemade porn sites, so not all homemade porn.

I can name a few other things that do. :v:
whats the point of filming ur bukkake pals that you ment on craigslist if your not going to put it on the internet
Never got why people record themselves having sex. It's like one of the most potentially life ruining things you can do. All it takes is some dude forwarding it and before you know it you're shit deep in problems you can't fix.

Isn't it weird that having sex can ruin your life? I think that's worse than the act of taking a video.

I really don't understand this reasoning, people have sex, that's a natural thing that people do
Makes blind links all that more russian roulette knowing my sister might be there somewhere... :ohdear:
That's why I dele-
Why would people make homemade porn anyway...
Damn. I woke up accidently after a night out and checked my phone and turned out I made a sex tape. All I could really see was my belly and me panting for air.
Deleted it ASAP.
Wonder if some poor soul will find it on SubmitYourFlicks or something
I am very well experienced in this field and i can confirm that this is indeed true.

I never said sex is bad. I said recording something as controversial as a sex tape and spreading it around is dumb. Its like russian roulette when it comes to peoples professional reputation.

When it's in that context, it makes it sound as though they know that there's another 12% of homemade porn floating around out there, SOMEHOW.

Yeah, but recording it and showing it to other people is not a natural thing to do. He's talking more about that than the actual sex act.

Did you not plan on waking up?
Guys. Fucking listen.
You are destroying an industry by watching internet porn.

I read that imagining 'Cats' saying that with a really creepy face.
Have you seen the price of a good porn DVD? It's $25-30. Jesus christ.
Good porn? You mean "pizza guy somehow manages to fuck a big boobed blond slut in the ass 5"?
Amataur porn has some nice cute women in it but the camera work is horrible most of the time.
Like how backing high school if a girl sent nudes to her bf literally everyone you talk to has them on their phone within days

If you're trying to make an honest living through pornography, you may want to rethink your life.

I actually thought this for the longest time. Soon as something is published on the internet, it's duplicated and copied and reposted quicker than you can blink. It's a vicious circle, especially if you've got one of your own 'homemade videos' circulating on the internet.

For me, price has nothing to do with it. Almost all porn movies are horrible and feel so extremely fake. The girls usually have abnormally huge tits and this super-slutty look about them which just looks wrong, everything they say sounds so horribly faked and there's no feel to it. It feels like they're just doing their jobs and fucking for money.
I wouldn't get a porno even if it was dirt cheap, it's impossible to fap to.
What the porno industry needs to do to survive is to actually be competitive and offer the customers a product worth paying for. This could be done by for example; getting better actors (better at acting, not just having the biggest boobs), having much higher budgets for each film and if they want a storyline, do a proper one. Like Spartacus but a bit more fucking I guess. Some hentais do this, but I'm not really into drawn girls.

Does it mean strictly online files you've hosted or are there some that just rip things off your PC?

This is like me with horror films. I cant watch a mainstream horror film because I know I won't be scared, or frightened or anything. Cause it's not authentic But if I watch beheading vids and shit, that actually strikes me inside haha
