Arena's not exactly good on any regard. It's vast expanses of nothing with a lot of bugs, really unrefined combat and pretty much nothing noteworthy to do. Daggerfall is a lot better when it comes to these really old TES games - and Daggerfall was made free by Bethesda a few years back anyway.

They DID change direction of the game mid-development, so it's no surprise Arena is shit.
I'd love a tasteful modernization of Daggerfall, isn't there a project about doing that in Unity?

Bethesda owns Fallout 1 and 2 these days. They put their release of the series as separate games on GOG.

Looks like they've leaked another sale at GOG. Still, Biomenace joining into Free Game category is a good thing. [sp]Hope Bethesda adds more of their own stuff as well such as their Terminator games[/sp]
