Shit that you have seen or experienced that is scary - General

I tend to be someone who will give the benefit of the doubt to anyone who makes a claim of something paranormal, or otherwise claiming to have seen a "something is not right about this" event. That being said, let's hear what you guys have witnessed that you would consider other-worldly, paranormal, haunting, or otherwise scary in any extreme sense. I am sure that most of you know what the aurora borealis looks like. I was with my brother driving around at midnight to get some food. As we got to an open area near a field, we noticed that in the sky, at about 10 miles altitude (if you have been to an airshow and seen an f-15 or f-22 do a "max ceiling" demonstration, you know how high this is visually), we noticed what at first looked to be the same phenomenon as an aurora. Lines that seemed to have a blueish and greenish glow to them were paired together in the sky. The thing that set it apart from being an aurora was the fact that upon looking through binoculars, the lines seemed to be almost completely solid, moving very suddenly to different spots in the sky (it was not my hands shaking the binos, as I had them mounted on a stand), and they were also descending periodically several thousand feet. We checked online to see if there was any notable solar activity in the region that could cause any electromagnetic events in the atmosphere, and there was absolutely nothing listed. Furthermore, we had alot of friends call us telling us they were seeing the same thing, and thenm low and behold: lights. aircraft lights, but hundreds of them. appearing instantly, high altitude, and not moving. they were not stars, as they were in 3 seperate PERFECT traingular configurations. later that night, not to any surprise, there were reports all over the news of the same strange event seen by people throughout pennsylvania, new jersey, and new york. what a weird fucking night. shit like that creeps me out.

well when I was younger, I was in my bed trying to sleep one night. all of a sudden I hear something thumping on my floor, next to my bed. it sounded like someone was wearing a heavy boot, just stomping it loud and clear for me to hear. it feels like it was dream when I think back on it, but it happened. I remember telling it to stop, and... it did. then I went to sleep.

Pulling myself up a half-inch pole to get onto a 4 story billboard. It was even worse climbing back down.

I was in the Thailand tsunami.

A few years back I was driving home with my family, and a creature appeared in front of our car. It was walking upright on its hind legs, and looked like a 4 foot tall platypus. The only reason I believed what I saw was because there was a local urban legend about the creature, known as the "Yorktown Monster". I knew a girl who was in a wheelchair due to some type of cancer. She never really talked about it. She was absent the last week of 5th grade. Anyways my sister and I were biking down our street when I saw her wheeling herself down a side road taking her lap dog on a walk. She rounded a corner and we decided to go talk to her to see how she was doing. I passed the corner to look down the street and she wasn't there. Didn't really think much of it. When I got back to school I was told that before summer break she died due to her cancer. I cried because I didn't get to talk to her before she passed away. I swore I saw her, and people just don't disappear like that.

A few years ago my brother threw a capped pen at me in my kitchen but it missed and we never heard it hit anything. The next day we found it outside next to the wall i was standing by. We're convinced he threw it so hard it went through a time jump.

Me and a few friends broke into an abandoned asylum, the inside was freaky. I don't feel like getting into details but if anyone is interested, let me know.

I woke up one night and I had this strange feeling I was being watched, so i slowly look up and I see this fucking person staring at me at the end of my bed. I hid under my covers for about 45 minutes then I slowly look up from my blankets and I see it exit the room. I've always had these hallucinations at night when i was kid for some reason. Seeing shadow people having sex on my wall, or seeing my treadmill taking a piss.
