A DOG which went missing from his home a decade ago has been re-united with its family after being found in Newport. Ten years after he went missing from his Barry home, Chance the Staffordshire bull terrier is now back at home with owner Sion Cox, who last saw his pal when he was 11 years old. Sion’s mother, Julie Coombes, said the incredible story began when Chance disappeared from her garden on Elizabeth Avenue ten years ago. The heartbroken family spent months searching for three-year-old Chance, putting up posters and notices online, with no success. Julie, 44, said: “You never really stop looking. You go places and you see a dog and think ‘Is that him’?” Nevertheless, the letter Julie received from a kennel in Newport saying they had found her dog was the last thing she expected. You’ve got Chance!’ We were all quite emotional.” “I didn’t really believe it,” said Sion. “I just thought it can’t be him.”
http://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/news/10941770.Dog_missing_for_ten_years_and_found_in_Newport_is_reunited_with_family/?ref=mr
That's heartwarming. I don't know what I'd do if I lost my cats or dog, or the three little kittens newly added to our family.
I was hoping for a heart wrenching video of them being reunited. The sun slowly rising in the background reflecting off Chance's fur as he leaps into his owner's outstretched arms...

That dog must have been on quite a journey, amazing how he's managed to stay alive.
