Build on pcpart picker:
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Jakeguy/saved/1Vpu
CPU: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A85X Extreme6 ATX FM2
Video card: MSI GeForce GTX 650 2GB
I need a new computer because my current computer has only 4GB RAM, and has a 1.90 GHZ CPU.
That's what I plan to get. Or, should I get another motherboard or CPU? What do you guys recommend?
Didn't even know you could get 15" Monitors :o
Anyways, you should get a intel build instead.
Yeah, actually found that monitor while browsing newegg. It's a pretty good deal IMO.
And I am also considering an intel build, but i'm stuck between that and AMD. :(
You don't need a sound card, you don't need 16GB of RAM at the moment (8 is enough), get an Intel processor, and get a 650 Ti or 650 Ti Boost.
Also what is your budget and purpose of this build?
Budget is under $1000 dollars, and I REALLY need a good gaming pc, because at the moment, my laptop can't run very many games.
E: Created a intel build, I actually like this better:

With that budget, go with an i5-4670k. With that get a z87 motherboard. The most common choices are the g45 gaming and the z87x-d3h, but if you need a cheaper motherboard, go for the G41 z87. Get a better CPU cooler. The most common choice for that is the Hyper 212 Evo, but the Hyper TX3 will also do for a little cheaper. I would get a better case so you don't have to buy extra fans. The challenger USB 3 version is the same price for a better value, and you can save 20 if you get the USB 2.0 version. As far as HDD you want either WD or Seagate. Go with the Caviar Blue or Barracuda models, or the caviar black/seagates equivalent for a little extra performance and cost. Next you should probably get a better power supply with a higher wattage, maybe 500 or 600. Lastly, why are you buying two keyboards? You ought to be able to just buy one good one for all purposes.
If all of this puts you over-budget, go for a less powerful haswell i5 with an h87 motherboard.

Just add a power supply to this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1eYi4
You should be able to remain within budget.
Gaming pc....15inch monitor....what?
Get yourself a nice 22 inch dude. Your going to have terrible resolutions on a 15''
For the love of god get a 22-23" full HD monitor

Pretty good. I would also go with an EVGA video card but whatever, it's up to you.
