Nice to see the effect of the beta, and to make it seem like the community actually helped.
this should be titled "What infinity ward should have done."
WOW! That's a lot of changes!
See, this is what a Beta is supposed to be. Not a glorified demo, but an actual play test used to better the final product.
Wow, nice one Dice

Beat me to it.
It looks like they pay attention to their community. I might keep an eye on their games because of that. :)

Edit: Wait, what am I saying, it's Dice. I already like their games. :v: Good on them, though, for having a productive beta.
Now I can't wait for the PC beta. I'm so excited for this game.
I played the PS3 demo more than most of my other games (Uncharted 2, Tekken 6, etc), loved it. Can't wait to see the upgrades for the PC version (too bad I have a shit PC). I'll hopefully have time to pick it up and play once March hits.
Holy shit how many changed are there?

I mean changes. Nws Node really needs an edit button
Awesome
Big list, looking forward to the beta.
It says that battlefield veterans get the defib, medpack ect at the start. How does it tell who's a veteran and who isn't?

There was a thing that started when BF2142 came out which was called the Vet program, it would Migrate your BF2 account to 2142. Now it ties in all other versions of Battlefield. I am a vet and Ive been one ever since the program was started in 2006, and I'm proud of it.

and I didn't answer your question. What it does is check the email you login with for the account and you also have to tie Bad Company 2 with the vet program. Its kind of a bitch since EA fucked it all up.

What benefits are there to using the vet program?

You said it yourself, extra weaponry.

Its a website thing where you link your accounts, you get a nice looking stat on your profile and every server you go on says your a vet. In some cases (Mainly with the Bad Company series) You get free weps.

I guess I'll go sign up.
I'd never remember my password from like 5 years ago.
:(
What? A game developer... *gasp*... listening to the community?
Oh no what is this it can not be
didn't get the beta but HOORAY PARACHUTES!
Nice to know they're actually listening to the community. Is EA still sticking with their "weapons that you can unlock with money but we swear aren't better than the ones that are free" thing?
This is why people love Battlefield, they put so much effort into perfecting the series, every Battlefield game has been good IMO
I love DICE so much more now.

Nope. Limited Edition simply gets you some unlocks from the start. Sort of like the Veteran Program.
Too bad they're going to charge you to own a dedicated server and you can't mod the game freely.

That only applies to Ranked server? Or am I wrong?

Dedicated server companies like multiplay.com et al are used quite frequently for dedis anyway, so it's not too much of an issue. Besides, you can host listen servers right?
DICE
