The University of Florida is Prepared for Zombie Attacks — Just in Case
It's great to know that your school is ready for everything, and students at the University of Florida can rest easy knowing their college is prepared to handle a zombie outbreak. An employee in the school's academic technology office wrote up a disaster preparedness simulation exercise, outlining what steps the university should take to identify and deal with an outbreak of "zombie behavior spectrum disorder." The guideline recommends, among other things, exercising proper hygiene during an outbreak, dispelling myths about zombies among the student body, and developing policies and procedures for dispatching an infected co-worker.
A spokesperson from UF says the module was added to the school's e-learning resources site to "add a little bit of levity" to disaster preparedness discussions. Of course, maybe they just know something we don't.
It may sound stupid, but what if there actually was a zombie outbreak? Then they can laugh at everyone else's asses.
If there really was a zombie outbreak.. yeah may I imagine it cool, it would really be terrifying. I'd be worried 24/7, Even with a weapon and ammo.
It's always best to be prepared. We never thought Georgia would ever flood like it did, but it did.

Read a history book. It happened in 1990
Or read this:

Being prepared is for fags and boy scouts
Real men carry around automatic shotguns everyday

By that logic, we should prepare for the second coming of Jesus.
I might actually be going to this college. :v:

This is the most severe flooding we've ever had. The other events were quite small compared to what happened two weeks ago.
How strange. My friends and I were just talking about zombies, and who would be the first out of us to die.
Go Gators!

Second?
Now I can rest easy knowing that I live in the most zombie-prepared state in the country.
I think it's entirely possible in this current day and age. We've got surgery that turns men into women, we've got drugs that cause your body to produce an excess of testosterone, which can result in insane muscular growth. We've got drugs for regulating blood flow and drugs to alter thought patterns.
It's only a matter of time, really, before we have an airborn disease that well and truly screws us over. Whether that results in traditional 'zombies' or just a mentally unstable population with a degradation of moral and social values it's impossible to predict, but eventually something big is going to happen.
Maybe it won't be us. Maybe Mother Nature will just turn around and beat us down for becoming so consuming, so disconnected with the planet and our roots. Maybe some new, unexpected disease will fly in on an asteroid, or maybe we'll uncover it in our never-ending hunt for oil.
Maybe it's for the best.

Believe it or not, there was actually a guy named Jesus around the year 20 AD.
However, the argument whether he was a prophet or not still remains.
I'm already ready.
2000+ rounds of .22LR and months of food that doesn't expire. :smug:
I live 2 hours from this School.
Yay, go Gators!

Idk if a .22 is going to do you much good against a zombie. Might need at least a .357 for a zombie.
This is BS...I'm reading it and they refer to "Zombie Researchers" the "Zombie Researcher George Romero" and "PETZ: People for the Ethical Treatment of Zombies".
Good thing I live in Gainesville :D
My brother went to University of Florida, and now I'm tempted to go there and major in Zombie Preparation.
Hahaha!
Go florida!
We need more of this in schools. We shouldn't take everything so seriously.
we should all have a huge florida orgy

There were hundreds of guys named Jesus around 20 AD. None of them were a prophet.

This makes me think they're experimenting with things they shouldn't be.
