The guy looks like Clint Eastwood meets "Big Hero 6". Kind of an odd-looking combo.

That just looked incredibly bland of a class, all the others look much more unique while this was more of a substandard FPS class, point and shoot and then do nothing else.

That's kind of the point. They're intending for him to be a the entry-level hero for people who are looking for an in to this kind of FPS.

Agreed, but its for a purpose.
I see all these people in the video whipping out shields, using these grappling hook things, and deploying these medical fields and all that junk.
Then.. we're in the perspective of this guy, who's only purpose is to shoot this primary rifle. All the time. What's so unique about him that gives him a skill ceiling like the other characters? All I see is a walking disadvantage compared to the other characters.
I like him for the whole fact that he's not a super smart gorilla, or the grim reaper, he's just a guy with a gun that takes on piles of mary sues and doesn't afraid of anything.
