What might have caused a blast like that?

My brother who's read Mexican sources says it was a bomb. Apparently they wanted to privatize that company, which is a state owned asset the day before it happened.
Latest reports say 32 dead.
Seems really iffy

I don't understand the people who rate these kind of things as funny. They might be doing it to get on peoples nerves but for what? A quick laugh to their self? Sounds pathetically sad to me.
to get reactions out of people
Again, pathetically sad.
And this is why I laugh at people who wanna vacation to Mexico. "Bad things only happen in some parts!"
The report was that the blast was the result of a gas leak in the building and not a bomb.
I really haven't been following this story but there was this picture of the event on facebook But as I'm not really sure, who knows, some even say it was a government move.

It looks like air. Are we really meant to believe that thin air was able to do so much damage? Look at all those broken windows. Those windows were made of glass. Glass is stronger than air. I tested this by blowing on my window for 30 seconds - it wasn't even scratched. And yet the government expects us to believe that air was able to do this much damage in a split second. I even spoke to an explosions expert, and he confirmed that the official account just doesn't add up:
yeah i guess th
