• Strange brightness problem in STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl

I tried playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl a few minutes ago, with the mod AMK installed. When I started a new game, the screen was so dark I could only just barely see light sources (lightbulbs, etc.), but the HUD, inventory and text was unaffected. I've checked my brightness settings in-game, and they're fine. I also uninstalled AMK and tried a new game, same problem. I then tried deleting User.ltx (the game's config file) and then I tried Verifying the game cache through steam, neither worked. I've checked around the internet for a cause, but no one else has seemed to have this problem. I haven't had this problem before today, and I can't think of anything I did recently that could cause this. Specs: Athlon II x4 @ 2.8 ghz 4 GB DDR3 RAM GTX 460 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit A picture of my problem: [IMG_THUMB]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594696902009101167/6AB53DDDF2C4FCABB807FB64C4F02C95C7015134/[/IMG_THUMB] EDIT: I have fixed it, turns out I just needed to restart my computer to de-fuck it up.
Check so your drivers are up to date. Does it look dark on the normal screen?
