My screen and internet browser has been acting up lately.

Well, a picture speaks a thousand word.

Yeah thats how facepunch looks like to me, coupled with the fact that sometimes my firefox just stops running and then continues after a wait of maybe 5 secs.

Then my screen has issues with displaying anything when my pc is started, it stays in standby mode, and starts up when it wants to, witch can be between 5 and 45 minutes

Some info i guess:
the screen is a samsung syncmaster 2053 BW

Specs:
4 gigs of ram
1tb hardrive
ATI 5850 Graphics card
gigabyte USB 3.0 supported mobo

Here is what i've tried:
updating drivers.
Pulled the Graphic card out of its slot and put it in again.(this worked one time)

And the reason why it has a nonsensical POST ICON is beacause i cant see the post icons in post new thread.

it looks like there are no pictures. is it possible to have pictures turned off? try using google chrome or IE and see how they work

Atleast IE Works with FP, So how do i fix firefox, ive gone through the settings and it says pictures allowed, If its to any ifo it happned after facepunch started with snowflakes..

Good call, I didn't even notice the adblock logo at first.

Well that fixed it...Atleast for FP.

but what about my screen having problems in standby?

if the problem happens after being off too, it's most likely a broken capacitor inside the monitor.
