Whenever I right click on my desktop or recycling bin or any file/folder actually, I get the "Windows explorer has stopped working" I'm running windows 7 64 bit. Its really annoying, this never happened to me on vista 64
It is probably a Beta version, Hmm? There have been many updates since 7 was released.
No, I actually have the retail version, it came in the mail as a free upgrade after I signed up for something
It's a fakie most likely Hahahahahahahahaha /fail
Cool, I love how when you ask for help on facepunch, the first thing is you get accused of is warez. Its fucking awesome.. If you can't help don't post saying I have some beta version or cracked version, I have a legit version of W7 64-bit.
Try booting off of your win7 CD and selecting repair when it comes up. Also, when's the last time you did a virus/malware scan?
Well, this happened right after I installed Win7. and I thought it might be a virus so I installed an antivirus, and it didn't solve the problem. and then the trial was up so I just uninstalled it. I can't find any free anti viruses anyway..
Did you make a fresh install of windows or did you do an upgrade ? Also is all drivers installed properly?
I did the upgrade. But I read up on it and people said that there's no difference other than the length of the installation. and I'm almost positive all drivers are fine and up to date.
