Motorists were caught up in delays of up to 14 hours through Kent, due to high numbers of holidaymakers and understaffed French border posts amid heightened security checks. Delays began on Friday night and could last until Monday, police have warned. Kent Police said it would "proactively" manage traffic to ease congestion.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/qzdviRP.jpg[/t]
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
I saw this earlier. People were getting out of cars and playing music, somebody had bought a bunch of fuel with them, etc. At this point if I was in Dover, I'd put a brick on the accelerator, leave the car in first gear, and walk. Who cares if it smashes into the back of another car - it's going so slow the damage will be minor! Seriously though this is awful, and I think it will only get worse after Article 50 is triggered.
What a nightmare. I cannot imagine what it's like to sit in a vehicle in this summer weather for 14 hours straight moving barely at all. Hope no one dies of dehydration or such.

People are no more likely to leave than all the people who say they will leave if their party loses the general election.
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
We literally have hordes of suicide bombers running around looking for any available targets 24/7
This understaffing seems linked to terrorism in France primarily.
If you look really close you can see Hezzy.

I mean as in people who want to travel to France are going to have a much harder time in the short term, although it's likely that the level of people leaving will reduce dramatically once free-travel is gone. Certainly there won't be mass immigration, but I think there might be a brain drain and increased migration of young people to places like Canada, USA, etc.
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
There's so many of them over there they're spilling into Northern Ireland. The IRA are freaking the fuck out, they're being beaten at their own game. seriously i cant tell if this post is serious or not. i hate sturgeons law so much right now.
I was stuck in a massive 6 hour long traffic jam once. A guy from the local corner shop had this absolutely massive tray of partially frozen drink and some food and was just going car-to-car selling it. I bet there were people doing it here, too.

Jesus christ, I'm SO GLAD I'm not going that way.
Huh? Im pretty good at catching sarcasm, but this one has me stumped.
Seems less like sarcasm and more paranoid bred over the past few months with all these attacks going off.
If you look really close you can see Hezzy.
"all I wanted was to go to fucking greggs"
We literally have hordes of suicide bombers running around looking for any available targets 24/7
Every morning when I wake up all I hear is the local Mosque.
Good time to be on a motorcycle.
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
Yeah I'd also be afraid of hanging around in one spot in America for too long because of all the guns around.
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
Ah yes, the hordes of terrorists that we have wandering around with their AK-47s, waiting for a time to strike.
Ah yes, the hordes of terrorists that we have wandering around with their AK-47s, waiting for a time to strike.
Just don't look at them
Can confirm it's fucking impossible going anywhere near the docks at the moment, and it was starting to back log horrendously into the main town yesterday. It's a real fucking pain and as if Operation Stack wasn't bad enough we've now got this to look forward to.
Do you think the french are serving the UK punishment for brexit Or maybe feel less inclined to care because of brexit
Do you think the french are serving the UK punishment for brexit Or maybe feel less inclined to care because of brexit
That would be a Chris Christie type scandal and I'm sure there are a lot of French citizens who are stuck in this traffic as well
Do you think the french are serving the UK punishment for brexit Or maybe feel less inclined to care because of brexit
If it affects France just as bad as us then no it doesn't make any sense. France just doesn't have the staff to process everyone coming across. It's happened before but not on this sort of scale.
God bless these people stuck in this shit storm, I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place in the UK, especially with all the ISIS around.
Honestly, now that I'm in Europe and I actually get to hear this shit like 24/7, I'm starting to see just how dangerous the media is to people. Not even in Caracas I would be this paranoid. Those people are going to be OK. Everything is gonna be OK. ISIS isn't looming in every corner with a fucking bomb.
Well at least the people with caravans have somewhere to chill
