"Local Are Connection" Doesn't have a valid IP configuration?

So you're trying to reach the Internet through your laptop?

You would need a crossover cable though, or a switch.
All you have to do is go to "Change Adapter Settings" and bridge the wireless adapter with the wired. This is for Vista/7, you don't need a crossover cable.

Sorry, forgot to mention I was running windows 7 if you know anything about that?

I have to admit I'm a little outdated since it was a while I did stuff like this, but do what Shadaez suggests. What you want to go for is a bridged connection anyhow. It used to be different a few years ago. :smile:
