How fitting, I was just replaying MGS3HD.
Buy this game right now. 2 absolute masterpieces of stealth games, if not some of the best games of all time and a more arcade-y CO-OP stealth shooter all for the price of one game.

Is the MGS3 HD version much better then the original (Not Subsistence), as Amazon comments imply?

Basically the same, except with some features from Subsistence, a much more stable framerate (only has problems towards the end when Volgin goes insane with his lightning shit) and the game looks absolutely beautiful.

but yeah when I first played MGS2 I was like
"WHY IS THE AI IN OTHER GAMES SO SHIT..."
then I realized that the terrain for the most part was linear and indoors
oh well.
Why didn't they put Peace Walker or the original MGS along with these 2?
Metal gear solid HD collection includes peace walker, atleast on PS 3, shacknews just might be inaccurate here.

The vita version doesn't include it. I assume they left out the first game for business purposes, all ps3's can already play ps1 games, so It will sell digital copies on its own and doesn't need to be included in the pack.

I thought they left out MGS1 primarily because the only remake it got, Twin Snakes, was both abhorred by fans and owned by Nintendo. Don't know why they'd leave Peace Walker out, though, especially considering that it'd make more sense to be on the Vita than the consoles ironically.
Picture looks like MGS 1 though. Should really finish it.

Picture is from the intro stage of MGS2, where you play as Snake.
I WAS going to get this until I heard Peace Walker is not included in the Vita version. That was like the only reason why I wanted to get it. I already have Snake Eater on the 3DS, and I don't really feel like I want to buy that bundle for just MGS2.
Now my Vita actually will have some games on it.

And the Peace walker currently available in the PSN store can't use transfarring due to how the content manager on vita works.
I just want to play peace walker properly without having to turn my PS3 on all the time. Playing it like monster hunter is fine and all but 2 analogs would make it so much better
