I just can't help it and keep raging seeing that the old Call of Duty games are still that expensive and the fact the will never go lower that %50. Goddamn it Activision. And I also I find it funny how the page takes a long time to scroll due the amount of DLCs.
I've been wanting to buy CoDMW1 for some time but really, 12,50€ is the best they can do after 7 years? Go fuck yourself. I've almost never paid more than 8€ for a AAA game, and even that's including all DLCs. Screw you Activision.

They also didn't have all this DLC listed earlier today, and now it's a giant clusterfuck of DLC everywhere. No way i'm wasting my bandwidth on installing Ghosts when it's probably so large in installation size it'd take up most of my weekend to download, followed with a mediocre experience.

The fact that people whine so badly about a game "only" going down to $10 is pathetic, especially considering $10 is like an hour and a half at a minimum wage job. I'm starting to agree with the people who say that constant extreme steam sales are cancer, because MW1 is definitely worth at least $10
Hahah, before the sale Black Ops was still £30? On your bike That said, Blackops 1 and MW1 are the only ones worth getting to play online.

You can easily get days of gameplay from the MP, lets say a player plays maybe 90 hours or something before the next one comes out. That's £45-£55 split over 90, you're getting somewhere around 39p to 50p per hour of content, you don't get that from any other media. Maybe music can get close if you listen to the album constantly, but that will get a lot more boring before even the most cut and paste CoD game does. I don't particularly like where the series has gone, and it is still kind pricey. But games in general are still stupendous value for money. [editline]29th August 2014[/editline] That's meant to be 50p-61p, whoops. Broken the edit function by using the £ symbol too!
I hope people still play CoD4 on PC because I just bought it.
wow a free weekend of ghosts? no thanks.
Hahah, before the sale Black Ops was still £30? On your bike That said, Blackops 1 and MW1 are the only ones worth getting to play online.
Eh, that's debatable. Black Ops 2 is pretty good. [editline]28th August 2014[/editline]
I hope people still play CoD4 on PC because I just bought it.
They do, but Punkbuster is fucked iirc and you have to manually get the update because they don't provide it anymore or something
Eh, that's debatable. Black Ops 2 is pretty good.
Black Ops 2 is good, but it suffers from the same problem all modern CoDs suffer from, the balance is completely fucked. There are a handful of weapons that are just superior to the others, a handful of killstreak rewards that are better than the rest, and the fact that players are rewarded for doing well with the ability to do even better. Now the last one was in CoD4, but the UAV was marginally useful, the airstrike was useless without the UAV, and the helicopter was a match stopper as everyone ran for cover. None of them caused a single player to determine the outcome of the match like they do in the newer games.
200 dollars to get the same brown-and-bloom shooter over and over with only small variations! What a steal!

do people even buy the older CoDs? Like newer than 4 but not the newest one I'd assume no

99% DLC also [t]http://i.imgur.com/9Bb0tCJ.png[/t] ha
do people even buy the older CoDs? Like newer than 4 but not the newest one I'd assume no
No because every old cod game is 20 dollars.

I have come to the conclusion that any decent game on Steam can be bought for 8€ or less, all DLCs included, if you wait long enough. You don't hate me for having a budget, do you?
$20 for Call of Duty 1 when it's not on sale? Wow. That game is nearly 11 years old.
I got black ops 2 because I heard it wasnt terrible and there are 1000 people playing. What the fuck I thought these games were popular.
Yeah even for this amount of content i'm not gonna pay €200 for it. I miss the publisher pack sales.
(broken merge)
Maybe you never spending more than €8 on a AAA game is more a problem with you than them. I'm starting to agree with the people who say that constant extreme steam sales are cancer, because MW1 is definitely worth at least $10
The problem truly is about them, because comparisons with anything other than other games on Steam is irrelevant. Practically all games on Steam follow the same pattern regarding price range, there is no reason for some of them to be more expensive supposedly because it's acceptable. [editline]29th August 2014[/editline] That's like saying: "it's okay to make Skyrim more expensive because most people spend at least 100 hours on it, thus it's a good deal".
20 bucks is still too much for me to want to try Black ops II, and that's the only one I want to try.

Why do they never do below 50% for COD sales?
Why do they never do below 50% for COD sales?
Because, Activision. I'd love Black Ops 1 and all the DLC since I adore the zombie maps. But £30????
Seriously, even COD1 is still $20? It should be $10 at most.
It'd devalue their product
I can understand the newer CODs but the Old ones like BLOP2 and MW1 should not be at the price they're at, at the least they should be at 75% off
Just a notice if you are buying Black Ops 1 The game is optimized literally worse than CoD Ghosts for me, I get around 20 fps at LOWEST settings My specs AMD Radeon 6670 Q6600 @ 2.3Ghz 6 Gigs of DDR2 Ram The game is very very CPU intensive ( I get atleast 90% usage whenever I play it)
Seriously, even COD1 is still $20? It should be $10 at most.
You can probably get a physical copy cheaper than this
