You can shave well over 200 dollars off if you build it yourself.
I have no building experience.

Its really just LEGO, if it fits it goes there. Look up some tutorials on youtube if you need help.
Build it yourself.
I'll pass on building, sorry. Is it good for its price?

No.

Most pre-builts you will find will not be good for the price. Do you know which brand the Ram,HDD,and Video Card is?
Hitachi HDD, nVidia Video card, and I dunno the RAM brand. I won't build the rig, stop telling me to.

Who is making the nVidia card? What specific Hitachi drive is it? And RAM brand would help alot.
If you aren't willing to build it, you honestly shouldn't get it.
It's really easy, and only an idiot would pay an extra 200 bucks to get it pre-built.
Last time I ask FP for any computer advice. It's a Hitachi 1TB, nVidia GX580, there is no name stated for the RAM.
the 16 GB of RAM is going to be overkill if all you're gonna be doing is gaming
and yeah, prebuilt...
It's nit all gaming but gaming is high priority. Also, suppose I were to compile a map like Evocity on this thing, (not that I would) would it be any different as opposed to a computer with specs half of this?
Why are you so opposed to building?
Pros: Save $, easy to accomplish, knowledge of own specs, sense of self accomplishment.
Cons: N/A.
Build it or go home.
Build it. It isn't complicated in the slightest and you overpay a lot for a prebuilt
i would be surprised if that PSU didn't explode the moment you pressed the power button
and you came into "pc building", what did you expect, us to tell you to get a prebuilt?
I just built a computer. And people said it was going to be like legos.
But it's more like a little 24 piece puzzle. It's simple, but takes awhile (not really) and requires a small bit of patience.
Well, now that I think about it, it's EASIER than legos because the big lego sets come with a single, horribly written instruction manual, while there has got to be guides to building a computer presented in every way, shape and form.
Build the motherfucker
The feeling when you press the power button on your just built machine.
Just awesome.
And when its exploding in your face
even more awesome
