I honestly thought Skyfall wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, better than Quantum of Solace sure... But that's not exactly a hard thing to beat.
None of the modern Bond movies have topped Casino Royale as of yet.

Casino Royale was absolutely brilliant, I'd be surprised if Spectre could top it to be honest.
Casino Royale is the best in the Daniel Craig series imo, Skyfall was all over the place.

Speaking of villains, the last two villains were my absolute favorites.
Both were great actors as well, not to be said about the guy from Quantum of Solace
I liked that second in the trailer with the cars spurting out fire during a car chase. It reminded me of the zany gadgets and ridiculousness that's been missing in the Craig Bond movies. Skyfall had some great scenes sprinkled throughout, but I'm hoping Spectre doesn't take itself as seriously.

It had good cinematography, but I didn't like the editing at all. I'll cut the film some slack since the director didn't have a background in action films before Quantum of Solace.
Suprised to see some blacklash towards Skyfall in this thread. That film owned hard imho.
