A while back, my disc drive on my laptop just up and quit working. It won't read any CD's, and if I go to My Computer, all I see is C drive. Does anyone have any ideas?
i have had this problem before. It might be a problem with windows or it could be physical, one way to check it to make an ubuntu live disk on another computer and stick it in your cd drive and start up your laptop.

What will this do? I'm not 100% sure I can trust a random code online.
I'm fairly sure that only removes some services' registry keys. Don't think it's malicious.
