woah woah wait
wheres the butcher picture?
are we sure this related to diablo 3?
Why can't you PvP wherever your want?
There was so much charm in fighting each other pretty much anywhere.
Death is never permanent in the Chapel, and merely sees players respawned in the same zone.
You can't even have a duel to the death either.
And secondly, the developers are removing the incrementing resurrection timer on consecutives deaths and replacing it with a consistent five-second wait.
This is a pretty big change. I haven't played in awhile but when I did respawns could get pretty bad when playing on the harder difficulties and not geared.

also thanks newsbot but I already have world of tanks you can stop popping up now
It still feels like "Auction House: The Game"
It still feels like "Auction House: The Game"
I've never used the auction house and I have 120 hours played. What are you doing wrong?
Game got bland to me after the first playthrough. I don't like how Diablo 3 forces you to play on the easier difficulties your first time. By the time you finish the first run the whole story will be spoiled for you, and honestly that was half the reason I played it.

At least when I played you were better off playing the auction house for rare items instead of grinding Inferno. Hell, even Inferno Act IV had shit for loot.

You realize that loot came from somewhere, right? Like Blizzard didn't seed it to the auction house? It dropped for people in their Inferno games?

I've cleared Inferno with one character and Hell with two and haven't even opened the auction house interface so it's certainly doable.

Wow no shit. My point is you were better off getting an upgrade from the auction house instead of grinding for it yourself.
Sure, you could argue that the AH is the D3 equivalent of trading like in D2 but from my experience good rare pieces are a lot less common in D3. And that's an understatement.
It's the nature of the beast. Nostalgia says great gear dropped all the time in Diablo 2 where as it doesn't in Diablo 3. Welcome to RNG and the action RPG genre. The same shit happens in Torchlight and Path of Exile. Sometimes you just don't get shit for gear.

It just felt pointless to farm for loot that would benefit you, when you could just search up the parameters you wanted and buy it instantly from the AH.
In the end I just found myself gathering gold so I could buy an item on AH, and it got real fucking boring. And constantly grinding to find an item suitable for you was even more boring, because the items you got never "felt" unique, it was pretty much "oh another yellow sword with some stats better than my current yellow sword". It was fun for a while but it didn't last.

Well, yes, Diablo 3 is an action RPG. Diablo 2 and Torchlight are the same way. They are games about grinding gear so you can use that gear to kill harder masters to get their gear and so on. The auction house was added as an official way to trade items and currency because the biggest problem Diablo 2's online service had was a black market of sorts where players were being scammed daily out of video game items and real money. Again, you could just not have used it, and then if you got bored of the game because you weren't getting the gear you want I would suggest that maybe this just isn't the genre for you.
I played like 150 hours of Diablo 2 though :v:
And enjoyed the hell out of it.
The trading felt more personal in D2, loved it.
Not to mention that Inferno was bullshit in terms of "difficulty". Pretty much everyone got one-shot by everything and for a while there the only viable build to progress at a reasonable rate was going glass cannon.
I tried out barb and was so glad I had a DH even though it was post-SS nerf.
I am not really sure how it is nowadays but after all that I've lost interest in the game.

I've played D2 a hell of a lot more than that and still think its a great ARPG but not to the exclusion of D3.

I agree. It's because Inferno wasn't really tested.
They took the values from Hell and doubled them. I don't mind having to use certain builds to get through content as long as the builds themselves aren't exploitative, but the amount of damage put out in Inferno, especially from the beginning of Act 2 on, was particularly stupid.
Actually now that I think about it, there was nothing wrong with the item drops (or rather it wasn't a major issue). It was just Inferno being a dice roll of which completely ridiculous monster affixes you were going to get.
How is Inferno now with MP lvl 10?
Not sure personally, I quit before the Monster Power system was added and uninstalled. I'm actually reinstalling right now in anticipation of this patch.
I was a bit excited until I saw, dueling.
Where the fuck is the PvP
