Simple question. Is this build good for gaming? I already have a case, psu, monitor, hdd, dvd drive, keyboard and mouse. I was pretty much trying to build this around the CPU, so that's the only thing I don't want to change, unless it's a better amd phenom ii x4. And yes, i added the thermal compound

You don't need thermal compound, it comes pre-applied to the CPU. Otherwise, that's a good build.

I would have gotten that combo, but I didn't know how long it would be before I was able to purchase the parts, and it might not be there anymore
