Real men go in HARD.
Real men go in HARD.
No, real men go to the Episode 4 corridor, fall through the water, and go around the corner to NIGHTMARE.
NIGHTMARE IT IS.
No, real men go to the Episode 4 corridor, fall through the water, and go around the corner to NIGHTMARE.
Shit, you're right, maybe I should play Quake again. Although you'll need to go through HARD anyway to reach NIGHTMARE.

[img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/dp000006.jpg[/img_thumb] You must now select an EPISODE.
Start from episode 1, and work your way up to the top.
Using a SECRET you learned off the internet, you select the NIGHTMARE difficulty.
That hurts, TextQUAKE. Anyway, start at Episode 1.
Quit the game and play Quake 2 on Nightmare difficulty.
Quit the game and play Quake 2 on Nightmare difficulty.
You contemplate playing QUAKE II, but you remember you dislike QUAKE II's lack of air strafing and the shitty final boss.
That hurts, TextQUAKE. Anyway, start at Episode 1.
[img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/dp000007.jpg[/img_thumb] To your FRONT-LEFT is a DOOR. In FRONT of you is a staircase. It looks like you might be able to access a passageway by JUMPing onto it.
After selecting nightmare, we must go into the config files and set our sensitivity higher than the max to ensure we have a good reaction time.
After selecting nightmare, we must go into the config files and set our sensitivity higher than the max to ensure we have a good reaction time.
Expert QUAKE player ALTIMOR advises that you use a low SENSITIVITY with a large mousepad for the best precision.

Well first of all, start strafejumping. Actually, did Q1 have strafejumping, I don't remember anymore.
Well first of all, start [del]strafejumping[/del]bunnyhopping.
You press SPACE to JUMP. With every JUMP, you release and press SPACE to ensure you are unaffected by friction. You stop pressing FORWARD and begin to zigzag by looking and moving to the RIGHT and LEFT. You have now built up sufficient speed to take on the enemies of QUAKE.
Well first of all, start strafejumping. Actually, did Q1 have strafejumping, I don't remember anymore.
This is an excuse to go play the first Quake. Go.
This is an excuse to go play the first Quake. Go.
Maybe I should. Although RoTT is higher on the "Games to play again" list.
Maybe I should. Although RoTT is higher on the "Games to play again" list.
Play both. Everyone wins.
Move forward, jump on the ledge on the left, turn around and shoot the computer wall to reveal the secret area.
Move forward, jump on the ledge on the left, turn around and shoot the computer wall to reveal the secret area.
You attempt to SHOOT the WALL on the LEFT, but nothing happens. You decide to try the one on the RIGHT instead. [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/dp000011.jpg[/img_thumb] You find the SHELLS.
Clearly there is only one thing left to do at this point: Ignore the shells and move on!
Take shells then head back
Clearly there is only one thing left to do at this point: Ignore the shells and move on!
You are unable to overcome your greed and pick up SHELLS anyways.
Take shells then head back
You've already taken SHELLS. Sorry, I don't know where back is.
open dimensional rift to parallel universe where cake grows on trees
Go to the staircase and jump over the gap.
Go to the staircase and jump over the gap.
[img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/Quake/dp000013.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/Quake/dp000014.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/Quake/dp000015.jpg[/img_thumb] You get SHELLS and BLUE ARMOR. The only place left to go is the DOOR. You walk up to it and it OPENs. [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17736620/Quake/dp000016.jpg[/img_thumb] You're engaged by a GRUNT! Behind him appears to be an elevator and a BUTTON.
Shoot the grunt, press the button.
Take out ax and smack the grunt around a bit then hit the button with it. Don't want to waste ammo now, do we?
Press ~ and type notarget
Kill the grunt, push the button and proceed into the water under the bridge after dealing with Rottweilers and Grunts in the outdoor area.
