Theresa May has revealed she shed a "little tear" when she learned the result of the election exit poll suggesting she would lose her majority.
The prime minister said her husband Philip told her the news - and it came as a "complete shock".
"It took a few minutes for it to sink in," she told BBC Radio 5 Live's Emma Barnett, because "we didn't see that result coming".
What a strong leader lmao
maybe this is a sign you should FUCK OFF already, TM.
She's probably totally clueless as to why she lost those seats.
This just seems to be her attempting to garner some sympathy. I personally don't really feel like giving her any

Agreed, no sympathy
This is what happens when you get over confident and greedy
I didn't know androids could produce tears
Don't lie you bitch, she has no capability for emotion other than MONEY MONEY MONEY ANGER ABOUT THE INTERNET
She actually didn't see it coming?
Fuck. Get her away from Brexit now because she's about as perceptive as a squashed snail.
Android? I thought she was a reptilian.
Crocodile tears and all.
See everybody, the reptilian in the robot suit can cry after all!
Maybe if she had shown a shred of humanity during the election campaign instead of after it she might have done better.
I hope she never will have another shred or even a second moment of happiness again. Elitist scum.
Good

General Grievous?
I hope this is a sign she'll stop trying to ramrod her horrible policy into the british public.
I too shed a little tear upon seeing the exit polls, I couldn't believe she was going to remain as PM after such a fantastic blunder.
Strong and Stable
Strong and Stable
They were the strongest tears, the most stable tears
All other tears are fake news
How can somebody be so fucking far up their own ass.
All she has to do is go on twitter for 35 seconds to find out she's a damn laughing stock.
You can't retcon what you did

"General Election! Stay back, I will deal with this Labour slime.. myself!"
*gets beaten into submission by an old man with a beard*
Lmao what does she expect? sympathy? This is nothing compared to the suffering her party has inflicted on the poor and disabled of this country.
How fucking clueless can you get?
"Hello Britain please vote for me, I want to torture small animals for sport, snatch houses out from under dementia sufferers, bring that pesky internet under my control, and starve school children!"
"*Sniff* What do you mean we didn't obliterate labour?????"
I hope she's given more to cry about over the next few years. She's a poor man's Thatcher for the 21st Century.

She's a conservative politician. So it's not likely
They should declare a national holiday the day this cunt steps down.

Jeez, overreacting a bit much? She has a really warped view of the world, but she does what she thinks is best for the country and it's people. To say she deserves suffering makes you just as bad as she is.

I agree she shouldn't be in any position of power, but to outright deny her even a shred of happiness for the rest of her life is just plain wrong.

Okay I don't like excessive edge either but I wish people wouldn't say stuff like this. Ive seen these platitudes about the Tories ~just doing what they think is right!~ quite a bit recently and I'm honestly not buying it.
I find it very hard to believe any of the Conservatives have the countries best interests at heart. They care about amassing power and lining their own pockets- and it shows in their leadership.
They prioritise renovating Manor houses owned by wives of MPs (courtesy of the tax payer of course) over improving the NHS's IT departments and cyber security.
They continue to push their borked austerity policy despite being fully aware that it's doing nothing good for the economy and is just getting the sort of people who wouldn't vote for them killed.
There are videos of them cheering and laughing as they vote to freeze the already stagnant wages of our police, our nurses, our fire-fighters. People who literally risk their lives to protect us.
There isn't always some misguided intention to do good, sometimes politicians really are just self centred pricks.
Still doesn't mean we should wish the worst for people just because we can't see eye to eye on things.

Oh please, she wouldn't care about any of the millions of lower class people she fucks over regulary having a bad day.
I'm just as bad as she is because I made a rude comment on a internet forums about her when she is ruining an entire kingdom and serving rich elites? I think stalin is an jerk, i guess I'm just as bad as he is huh?

Again, their own priorities over what's good for the country.
This isn't 'not seeing eye to eye'.
too bad, so sad
