what do i do before installing a new cooler?

i just bought a cooler master v10 and im going to install it on my phenom II...anything i should do before i rip out my mobo (asus m3n78 pro) and slap a new cooler in?

Get all the old thermal grease off the old CPU with some rubbing alcohol before applying new grease.

I used to try scrape it off.

Then I descovered alcohol wipes.
