I have two screens, both 1440x900, my 2nd screen goes into 1440, but the other one is stuck in 720p I tried switch what DVI ports they use, but it didn't make a difference. It also calls its a Generic Non-PnP Monitor now, it said that name of it before.
What monitor is it?
Hanns-G Its about 4 years old.
1280 x 720 is a 16:9 resolution, the 16:10 resolutions (such as 1440x900) might be lower on the slider, thus confusing you. If that fails to work, make sure you have the latest drivers for your GPU, then it should pop up - or go into your GPU CP and manually set it. If you'd like more help (quickly) you may add me on Steam.

Post your full specs and I'll help more. Check windows update to see if the monitor comes up, too.
Oh god, the screen blacked out and then went to 1080p. Oh god what.
