• Nvidia Share unable to start.

Recently I tried to use Shadowplay AKA Share to record some gameplay, but any time I try and open it in GFE, it throws an error "Unable to open Share". Even trying to turn it on in settings doesn't work, it says That didn't work. Try restarting your system. I've tried rolling back to a previous version, which did nothing. Anyone else having problems like this?
Can you upload C:\Users\[YOUR USER]\AppData\Local\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA Share\CefCache\console.log

As for the file, I didn't have a Share folder.
Yeah, sorry about that. As for the file, I didn't have a Share folder.
ahh no wories, from what I can see, since the crash was before opening share, not as it was opening, then it wouldn't have created the appropriate files. The error lies in that the Frame Buffer Capture (FBC) does not start/is not running. Some discussions mentioned that a restart fixes it, but this has not been your case. Have you tried to do a fresh install of your graphics drivers?, a reinstall can be made from the drivers tab of GFE [t]https://jii.moe/HJRdLCPOl.png[/t] Rolling back GFE wouldn't have made much difference since it's a separate entity from the drivers

No dice. Though, I usually use DDU to make a clean slate and start from scratch, but even that was giving me problems. No malware on my system that I know of.
Hmm, does NvFBC64.dll exist in System32?
Yep.
I had a similar issue with reinstalling drivers (even with DDU) not working, I fixed it by using DDU to uninstall the drivers (but not GFE), then used revo Uninstaller to find any remaining files/registries. Lastly I searched through the registry for anything Nvidia related and deleted all entries. Reinstalling GFE and the drivers afterwards made it work properly.
I've had this issue and peeking through my logs said it failed to open something like nvosc.exe. I'd changed the registry location of Program Files etc to the D drive, and merging the NVIDIA Corporation from the C to the D seemed to fix the problem. If you've done the same, that might just fix it.

Alright, after trying countless things that didn't work, I bit the bullet and redid my Windows install and now it's fine. I'm taking a guess some crucial system files were corrupt somewhere.
