Wait, wait, what! Their first product was a board-game of all things?
These sons of bitches are real oldschool.
The original cover, if anyone was interested

They made it to cover the early dev costs.
"The collector’s edition should be available to buy in the store now" Then why does CCP's own store say that they will ship in October?
Buy it now, but don't get it until October?
For $150.00 would anyone say this is worth it? :v:
I've been trying to get into EVE lately but haven't had much success.
So i've been trying to ease myself into the kind of game EVE is with the X3 series (which i've heard is basically kind of like a singleplayer EVE) and so far i've been enjoying it.
Hopefully it'll make it easier for me to get into it next time around.
EVE is nothing like X3 at all.

I'm getting this as soon as I can, regardless of the price tag.
Well, i'm hoping i'll get a better grip on EVE eventually.
Starting out is a pain though (but I know it's supposed to be).
Trying to apply X rules to EVE will make you worse at EVE.

Trying to apply any rules from anywhere will instantly cause you to have a bad time.
The only real rule in EVE is that you can't exploit the game in any way, with botting, or bug-abuse etc.
MMO's like World of Warcraft are basically just guided theme parks where park employees instantly throw people out that try to have fun, EVE is basically a literal sandbox full of 6-year olds, and some of them managed to get their hands on some knives.
The only rules that are applied to you, are social rules, if you're a part of a corporation, or alliance.
They even got Reykjavik’s mayor, Jon Gnarr, to come back and reshoot the iconic image of himself in drag for the cover.
That is new levels of boss.
