If anyone here has seen this recently released movie (although, if I understand correctly, it's only been premiered at Sundance, not given theatrical showing), you probably know how awesome it is already, if not, SIT BACK, WHILE I TELL YOU A STOREH, ABOUT MY FRIEND.. BLACK DYNOMITE!
To quote wikipedia:
"Black Dynamite, starring Michael Jai White, is a spoof of blaxploitation films of the 1970s. Its premiere was at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, where Sony Worldwide Acquisitions picked it up for distribution.[1][2] A release date of October 16, 2009 has been announced on the film's official Twitter feed.[3] On August 25, 2009, it was announced that Apparition, a new distributor headed by Bill Pohlad and Bob Berney, would handle the film's domestic release."
Essentially, Black Dynamite is a comedy tribute to the blaxploitation genre. I can honestly give it my seal of aproval for being a fucking kickass movie, and that doesn't come from me easily. It has everything you want: Comedy, Action and Intentional movie errors.
Here's some trailers:

Snip, watched trailer 2, looks hilarious.
Sounds awful, care to explain more?
Black Dynamite is freaking awesome. No further explanation needed.
It's right up there with Crank: High Voltage on my list of movies of pure awesome.
Fuck youuuuu, Chelioooooooos!
I saw it, Massive rip-off of shaft, was absolutely funny!
I can't wait for this to release. The red band trailer is hilarious. Just in case you guys don't immediately realise, he's Gamble from The Dark Knight (the one who gets his face cut because the joker aint got no manners)
The first trailer in my OP is the best IMO.
Never heard of it but looks pretty cool, thanks OP.
Saw this a few days ago. Was fucking awesome.
Haha, I like the 70s style.
I have tickets for the 26th. Going to be awesome.

If you liked Crank (2), and you're putting this movie up there with them, then I'm going to skip it.
Looks awesome.

Great job genius. Don't forumlate an opinion for yourself based on your own experiences, take someone else's and base it off that! :downs:
Oh jeez, this looks hilariously awesome. I've got to see it now, I love these tributes to seedy exploitation films... Grindhouse comes to mind.
I laughed at the part where he was giving that little speech and the boom microphone was showing above his head. He kept stealing glances at it :v:
I came into the thread and saw the trailer without reading the actual thread and I thought it was a 70's action flick.
I appreciate intellectual movies, but Crank (2) made so little sense and was so packed with epic that I loved it anyway.
This looks awesome.
I've been wanting to see this for a while now. I love these kind of movies.
Just a cheap copy of undercover brother.

Box for you. Incredibly idiotic statement. Not only is undercover brother not remotely funny, it's also nothing like black dynamite.
Did this remind anyone else of the afro ninja?
Where/When can I see this magnificent piece of 100% pure one bad ass nigga vs. the drug dealin circle?
Saw this preview in the movies.
I just went what the fuck when I did.
That looks awesome
I must see this. I must. It is a new goal for me in life.
Also, I liked Undercover Brother. "You touch the 'fro, you gotta go!"
Anaconda gives you... oooooooooooo!
This movie was fucking awesome. Or should i say...
DY-NO-MITE!
Go watch it right now, motherfuckers.
