Ohgod. I spent my early childhood in Southeast Asia and I used to have a bootleg Gold version. Every character that came up would only have five letters in their name.

And the rest of it pretty much played out exactly the same as these videos... Except Professor Oak wasn't "Elf Grandfather."

...Yeah this bootleg is pretty crappy; I think my old one was just a semi bad translation from Japanese... I still miss my Pidge. When he evolved he turned into a Pidge. And then he turned into a Pidge.

EDIT: Crap Oak isn't the Elf Grandfather? I can't make head or tail of this.
